Bill Wyman's Sticky Fingers, London

Mixing music with food is just the best combination and what with the legendary Rolling Stones comes the fabulous Bill Wyman and with that comes the tasty brilliance which is Sticky Fingers, located in London’s prestige High Street Kensington.

Sticky fingers has everything a true rock N roller loves, guitars, memorabilia and great tasting American food. If you are wanting a place that’s great for families, that has a great cocktail list and ensures some superb tasting meals then this is the place for you.

For starters, they do THE tastiest, spicy chicken wings and this comes in both a small portion or a large to share with some chicken wing lovers (BBQ wings are the other option). Some other great starters are the baby back ribs or the crispy cod goujons- full of flavour and cooked to perfection. The portions are infact a good enough size and the smell of the food as it comes out is just enough to set your taste buds off. The cod goujons are served with a lime and smoked chilli mayonnaise, you might need two portions as these are so fresh and perfect pieces of cod too!

If you are wanting a main course that gives you a little kick, then I would highly recommend the sizzling Cajun chicken fajitas - as you would imagine they are served with the usual trio of sauces and come with a large quantity of wraps, perfect for the sharing. The chicken is very tasty and well cooked but enough so it’s still so juicy. I love this dish and really enjoy the taste of all the spices together.

Another great main course is the Moving Mountains burger which is perfect as a vegan option as this burger still oozes taste and just delicious plant based options for all to enjoy. The burger is infact something very different to what I’ve seen before but just tastes amazing and definitely one not to be judged from the menu. The burger is infact Plant-based meat, shiitake bacon, vegan cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, gherkin and avocado mayo. It’s extremely healthy and very pleasant as a lunch or main course dinner. The burgers are in a toasted brioche bun fries and apple coleslaw on the side. Other main courses of offer range from salads to more burgers and also steaks are also on offer here.  I have to mention that the baby back ribs are just melt in your mouth pieces of heaven generously coated in sticky BBQ sauce. If you want some meaty ribs, giving you a whole new take on ribs, then be sure to check these out- very popular and easy to see why!
The menu is pretty extensive and definitely something for all ages of the family, with a separate kids menu too.

With some of these being highly recommended main
The Salted Caramel Donut Freakshake
courses, I would certainly be sure to save room for desert as their freak shakes are the ones to indulge and enjoy. The Salted Caramel Donut Freakshake is just heavenly, it’s very rich but so tasty and moreish at the same time, but possibly one to share too. They really do give you a whole donut on the top of this shake and they do have a couple more mouth watering flavours too. Other desert includes coke floats, sundaes and also cheesecakes, alongside the usual teas and coffees.

The overall atmosphere of Sticky Fingers is a lot of fun, there is indeed a great vibe there with fabulous array of tunes to sing along to! The staff are very good at what they do and are always on hand to ensure that they are providing a great service. The food definitely needs many wet wipes but it’s certainly well named as sticky fingers is exactly what you get but as I always say, great food is always best enjoyed with fingers where possible. This is the perfect restaurant for a special occasion, where just to enjoy some great tasting American food with great beer and cocktails or just if you fancy a fun date night out or family evening out.

The very best in BBQ, with love from Bodean's - Covent Garden, London

Barbecue food is slowly becoming the latest trend and hearing about the ultimate barbecue experience being Bodean's restaurant in London’s Covent Garden, I couldn’t wait to try it out and sample the delights on offer.  The Bodean’s Covent Garden is the newest of their 7 restaurants and the brand was founded in 2002 by Canadian restaurant entrepreneur Andre Blais. This is definitely a meat eaters paradise and a completely different dining experience to I literally feel walking into the restaurant that I am no longer in the UK and that I am in a buzzing Texan bar/restaurant. The restaurant is a style sophistication and definitely has a huge southern vibe to it. Aromas of the food catch you soon as you walk in and instantly have you wondering what’s on the menu.  Whether you like chicken, beef, pork or prawns; there is something here for you.  The menu is quite vast but at the same time each dish is very interesting and leaves you wondering what to actu...

The rise of the UK coffee culture

There is no denying that the rise in coffee culture is growing rapidly year by year. It seems like the sociable and “in” thing to do nowadays is to go and grab a coffee with a bunch of friends and catch up. I have also noticed more and more that coffee is becoming quite the perfect commodity on a social level where it’s being enjoyed by many individuals such as businessmen, university students right through to mums and housewives.   The best thing about it is that coffee manufacturers are now producing a higher quality coffee that can be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home which makes it more enjoyable and more accessible and the best feeling to know that you can enjoy coffee shop style quality at home! There are many coffee brands out there but for me personally I feel that Nescafe are the leading coffee brand and are constantly striving to produce the best coffee for all occasions. There are the Nescafe Dolce Gusto pods which offer you coffee in many differen...
