Spa epilation and hair free from Braun

The fabulous Silk-Epil 9 Skinspa

If a leg shaving isn’t quite your thing and you like the more longer lasting hair removal option then you need to hear about the new epilator from Braun that has recently been launched….I know that the epilator might be a daunting thought and I can appreciate that is not for everybody but this one compared to other brands I have used before is extremely soft on your skin.

I used to be petrified at the thought of an epilator but for me it’s the ideal hair remover and it’s great for sensitive skin and not only does it put all the hair out from your roots- which should last up to 4 weeks depending on your hair growth, but it also gives that massaging feeling whilst epilating your legs which makes it a lot more bearable and believe me the pain is minimal when using this epilator. It’s definitely worth a try for all you epilator newbies and the results certainly speak for themselves!

I would say that I managed to remove hair from both my legs in less than 25 minutes and it actually was a very relaxing process. This Silk Epil 9 epilator is also perfect as you can use it on dry skin but also in the shower and with its new functionality of the wider head, by 40% compared to the previous product editions, this means that the leg hair is removed more effectively and in one stroke on the area rather than going over it a couple of times.I was very impressed as I started on one area and within the first stroke it pulled out all the hair in its path leaving it hair free from the roots and a larger patch so this saved me time on the rest of my leg!

With the pain factor of the Silk Epil 9 being almost non existent- I am definitely recommending this to everyone to at least try as it definitely beats heading to the salon for a leg wax, it’s easily done in the comfort of your own home and your can take this handy piece of beauty equipment anywhere. It’s a great buy and well worth every penny!

Another great part of this epilator being a ‘spa like’ product is that it also comes with a exfoliating head so you are able to exfoliate your skin at the same time. It’s simple to use, comforting and there shouldn’t be any irritating from it either. I love this as it pretty much takes care of my skin and legs in one go!
The epilator comes complete with various attachments which makes it different from most epilators out there and creates more of a ‘spa’ experience for you.

The new Silk Epil 9 SkinSpa by Braun is available in many big brand supermarket retailers as well as at most Boots stores.

Dining delights of Mayfair - El Pirata

Mayfair is full of magic and sparkle indeed but when you come across hidden gems in the form of food and drink, that’s what makes London even more special. Set in the heart of Mayfair, but nestled in Down Street lies little Espana, a truly amazing Tapas restaurant called El Pirata.  This restaurant really does bring the taste of Spain to London and will leave your taste buds wanting more. El Pirata boasts a menu spanning more than 60 dishes ranging from meats, seafood, chicken to vegetables and there is something for all tastes. The portions are a generous size and are full of taste and succulent in all the right places. Whether you want to pop in for a light lunch, a romantic candle lit dinner, or want to have a drink with friends and family, you won’t be disappointed with what’s on offer. Their wine menu on its own has a collection of OVER 140 Spanish wines but non wine drinkers, don’t fret as there are also beers and soft drinks available.  The extensive bar...

The very best in BBQ, with love from Bodean's - Covent Garden, London

Barbecue food is slowly becoming the latest trend and hearing about the ultimate barbecue experience being Bodean's restaurant in London’s Covent Garden, I couldn’t wait to try it out and sample the delights on offer.  The Bodean’s Covent Garden is the newest of their 7 restaurants and the brand was founded in 2002 by Canadian restaurant entrepreneur Andre Blais. This is definitely a meat eaters paradise and a completely different dining experience to I literally feel walking into the restaurant that I am no longer in the UK and that I am in a buzzing Texan bar/restaurant. The restaurant is a style sophistication and definitely has a huge southern vibe to it. Aromas of the food catch you soon as you walk in and instantly have you wondering what’s on the menu.  Whether you like chicken, beef, pork or prawns; there is something here for you.  The menu is quite vast but at the same time each dish is very interesting and leaves you wondering what to actu...

The rise of the UK coffee culture

There is no denying that the rise in coffee culture is growing rapidly year by year. It seems like the sociable and “in” thing to do nowadays is to go and grab a coffee with a bunch of friends and catch up. I have also noticed more and more that coffee is becoming quite the perfect commodity on a social level where it’s being enjoyed by many individuals such as businessmen, university students right through to mums and housewives.   The best thing about it is that coffee manufacturers are now producing a higher quality coffee that can be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home which makes it more enjoyable and more accessible and the best feeling to know that you can enjoy coffee shop style quality at home! There are many coffee brands out there but for me personally I feel that Nescafe are the leading coffee brand and are constantly striving to produce the best coffee for all occasions. There are the Nescafe Dolce Gusto pods which offer you coffee in many differen...
