Hair-Free and feeling gorgeous with Venus

With summertime approaching and holiday season is near- looking good and feeling gorgeous in the sunshine is high on the list. For me personally, this means that I can bring out my gorgeous skirts and dresses that have been tucked away for many months due to this awful British weather! Nothing new there then!
With many of us loving wearing skirts and dresses, I know that our legs have to be looking amazing and I wanted to share with you a few of my favourite summer must haves for obtaining the perfect looking legs!
The Gillette Venus Swirl
There are two options that I am going to talk about and the first option we are going for is something quick, professional and leaves your legs feeling silky smooth – I am talking about the new Venus blade for ladies. Its called the Venus Swirl and I love this new blade as it has a small flexible bubble ball that has been built into it to ensure that all contours, angles and corners of the leg are easy to shave and that no areas get missed.
This product for me is great if I don’t have any time and just want to do a quick legs shave, it leaves my legs hair free feeling so so gorgeously soft and it takes a matter of minutes to remove the hair in the shower! The other benefit is that you can use the fab new shave gel from Gillette which has a touch of Olay into it which gives you a more enjoyable leg shave experience and leaves legs feeling smooth, giving the blade a more smooth glide on the leg. It’s also just easier overall to pickup and remove any unwanted hair.
This is a more temporary option of leg hair removal but it gets the job done to an amazing standard and is certainly an item I would recommend all females to have as a back up and in their toiletries bag! Even for shaving underarms – this is a little gem and you won’t be disappointed with the results! Gillette is a leading brand in male and female grooming and with their amazing technology and innovative blading techniques – be sure to check them out!

The new Gillette Venus Swirl is available at the RRP of £11.99 in many big brand supermarket retailers as well as at most Boots stores.

Dining delights of Mayfair - El Pirata

Mayfair is full of magic and sparkle indeed but when you come across hidden gems in the form of food and drink, that’s what makes London even more special. Set in the heart of Mayfair, but nestled in Down Street lies little Espana, a truly amazing Tapas restaurant called El Pirata.  This restaurant really does bring the taste of Spain to London and will leave your taste buds wanting more. El Pirata boasts a menu spanning more than 60 dishes ranging from meats, seafood, chicken to vegetables and there is something for all tastes. The portions are a generous size and are full of taste and succulent in all the right places. Whether you want to pop in for a light lunch, a romantic candle lit dinner, or want to have a drink with friends and family, you won’t be disappointed with what’s on offer. Their wine menu on its own has a collection of OVER 140 Spanish wines but non wine drinkers, don’t fret as there are also beers and soft drinks available.  The extensive bar...

The very best in BBQ, with love from Bodean's - Covent Garden, London

Barbecue food is slowly becoming the latest trend and hearing about the ultimate barbecue experience being Bodean's restaurant in London’s Covent Garden, I couldn’t wait to try it out and sample the delights on offer.  The Bodean’s Covent Garden is the newest of their 7 restaurants and the brand was founded in 2002 by Canadian restaurant entrepreneur Andre Blais. This is definitely a meat eaters paradise and a completely different dining experience to I literally feel walking into the restaurant that I am no longer in the UK and that I am in a buzzing Texan bar/restaurant. The restaurant is a style sophistication and definitely has a huge southern vibe to it. Aromas of the food catch you soon as you walk in and instantly have you wondering what’s on the menu.  Whether you like chicken, beef, pork or prawns; there is something here for you.  The menu is quite vast but at the same time each dish is very interesting and leaves you wondering what to actu...

The rise of the UK coffee culture

There is no denying that the rise in coffee culture is growing rapidly year by year. It seems like the sociable and “in” thing to do nowadays is to go and grab a coffee with a bunch of friends and catch up. I have also noticed more and more that coffee is becoming quite the perfect commodity on a social level where it’s being enjoyed by many individuals such as businessmen, university students right through to mums and housewives.   The best thing about it is that coffee manufacturers are now producing a higher quality coffee that can be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home which makes it more enjoyable and more accessible and the best feeling to know that you can enjoy coffee shop style quality at home! There are many coffee brands out there but for me personally I feel that Nescafe are the leading coffee brand and are constantly striving to produce the best coffee for all occasions. There are the Nescafe Dolce Gusto pods which offer you coffee in many differen...
