The very best in BBQ, with love from Bodean's - Covent Garden, London

Barbecue food is slowly becoming the latest trend and hearing about the ultimate barbecue experience being Bodean's restaurant in London’s Covent Garden, I couldn’t wait to try it out and sample the delights on offer.  The Bodean’s Covent Garden is the newest of their 7 restaurants and the brand was founded in 2002 by Canadian restaurant entrepreneur Andre Blais. This is definitely a meat eaters paradise and a completely different dining experience to I literally feel walking into the restaurant that I am no longer in the UK and that I am in a buzzing Texan bar/restaurant. The restaurant is a style sophistication and definitely has a huge southern vibe to it. Aromas of the food catch you soon as you walk in and instantly have you wondering what’s on the menu.  Whether you like chicken, beef, pork or prawns; there is something here for you.  The menu is quite vast but at the same time each dish is very interesting and leaves you wondering what to actu...

Dining delights of Mayfair - El Pirata

Mayfair is full of magic and sparkle indeed but when you come across hidden gems in the form of food and drink, that’s what makes London even more special. Set in the heart of Mayfair, but nestled in Down Street lies little Espana, a truly amazing Tapas restaurant called El Pirata.  This restaurant really does bring the taste of Spain to London and will leave your taste buds wanting more. El Pirata boasts a menu spanning more than 60 dishes ranging from meats, seafood, chicken to vegetables and there is something for all tastes. The portions are a generous size and are full of taste and succulent in all the right places. Whether you want to pop in for a light lunch, a romantic candle lit dinner, or want to have a drink with friends and family, you won’t be disappointed with what’s on offer. Their wine menu on its own has a collection of OVER 140 Spanish wines but non wine drinkers, don’t fret as there are also beers and soft drinks available.  The extensive bar...

Luxury in the Capital at Royal Lancaster London Hotel

London is by far one of the most historical and exciting cities in the world and one thing you’re never too far from is somewhere to stay. Whether you are looking for budget, mid range or luxury- you can be sure there is always something for you.  I wanted to share my love and adoration for the Royal Lancaster London which is conveniently located in the heart of London, a stones throw from Lancaster Gate tube station and five minutes from Paddington station. The five star hotel has recently undergone an £85 million refurbishment and is more than ever a huge hit in the hospitality world and a hub for guests and travellers worldwide. Upon entering the hotel, the luxury hits you instantly with the design and overall concept by London based interior designer company Studio Proof. The feel of the hotel is simply pure class, elegance and modern architecture. It’s bright, welcoming and from the lighting to the furniture to the marble flooring, there is not a single thing you are ...

Browhaus - London's ultimate brow salon

Located in the backstreets of London’s Covent Garden lies a beauty haven secret, and one of my favourite threading salon’s to date – Browhaus! With its green arches, and innovative designs, a trip to this salon is well worth every penny! I was treated to a tweeze and thread treatment which left my brow looking amazing, perfectly defined and left my skin feeling smooth and hairless at the pull of a thread! Well, that said lightly, the truth be told, there is such an art to threading and the beautician in charge of my brows did a perfect job. The arches of my brows were beautifully shaped to suit my facial features and really framed my face well. With trips to my local salon being a thing of the past, Browhaus is definitely my new and favourite salon to hit in London. Where local salons left my brows at times looking incorrectly shaped, uneven or left my skin cut – Browhaus left me looking and feeling every inch beautiful with the brows looking extremely professional a...

Baby changing essentials from My Babiie

I have to say that I am totally loving our changing mat from the fab My Babiie. Our mint green and grey chevron patterned baby changing mat is perfect when it comes to changing baby Harry on it as not only is it spacious and soft, it's very easy to clean and nicely padded so baby My Babiie Mint Changing Mat feels safe and secure whilst being changed on it. The changing mat itself is made from a non toxic PVC material and has raised sides all the way around which makes it a safe and ideal addition to every child's nursery. The mat (pictures below) is suitable for use from birth and is priced at an affordable £8.99 so it's definitely something worth checking out. The mats come in a few other fab and vibrant designs with also a range from Billie Faiers (The Only Way is Essex) so there really is something to suit all nursery themes and designs. A great accompaniment in the nursery with every changing mat are of course the baby wet and dry wipes. My Babiie...
